Analysis may address conflict, displacement, political activity, ethnicity, gender-based harm, sexual orientation, or other risk factors, while accounting for differences between regions, cities, and local actors.

State protection in practice

Evidence examines the practical operation of protection mechanisms, not only formal law or published policy. It may also consider access to identification, housing, medical care, livelihood, and support networks when assessing relocation.

Independent assistance to the Tribunal

Reports for the FtTIAC or UTIAC state the materials considered, sources relied upon, reasoning, and limitations. The expert's overriding duty under CPR Part 35 is to the Tribunal or Court.
