Funding-aware instructions
Practitioners can provide the issue in dispute, hearing timetable, available funding information, and materials for consideration. A proposed scope should distinguish necessary expert work from matters that do not require an opinion.
Prior authority and tribunal work
Where needed, a concise scope and estimate can assist a Prior Authority application. Reports are prepared for the question before the FtTIAC, UTIAC, or High Court, with the expert's overriding duty to the Tribunal or Court.
Transparent evidence
Opinions identify source material, reasoning, assumptions, and limitations in accordance with CPR Part 35. The availability of public funding does not affect independence or the conclusions reached.
