Privacy

UK GDPR information for professional contacts and instructing solicitors.

Information we handle

We process professional contact details, instruction correspondence, case administration information, and material required to assess or perform an agreed expert instruction. We ask that initial enquiries do not include appellant or client personal data unless a secure, agreed instruction process requires it.

Purpose, basis and confidentiality

Information is used to respond to enquiries, assess conflicts and availability, manage instructions, meet professional and legal obligations, and maintain records. Processing is carried out under the UK GDPR on the basis appropriate to the engagement, including legitimate interests, contractual necessity, legal obligation, or consent where required. Confidentiality is observed subject to law, professional duty, and any court or tribunal order.

Retention and rights

We do not retain personal information beyond what is necessary for the stated professional purpose, legal obligations, limitation periods, and defensible record keeping. You may request access, correction, restriction, objection, or information about processing by contacting us. Concerns may also be raised with the Information Commissioner's Office.
