FtTIAC appeal pathway
For a First-tier Tribunal Immigration and Asylum Chamber appeal, an expert can address country conditions, internal relocation, state protection, document context, or medico-legal issues that bear on the statutory and Article 3 or Article 8 questions. Instructions should identify the issues, hearing date, bundle timetable, and material already disclosed.
UTIAC proceedings
In the Upper Tribunal, evidence must be directed to the error of law, remaking, preservation of findings, or new evidence issue actually in dispute. A concise supplementary opinion can explain material developments without duplicating the FtTIAC evidence.
Live testimony and conferencing
Where directed or appropriate, the expert may give evidence remotely or in person, explain methodology, and answer questions within the limits of their expertise. The duty remains to the Tribunal; opinions are not tailored to the instructing party's desired outcome.
